A lot of my friends love to go shopping (Diane L. and Judy M.), I could just be in a theater all the time.  Theater spaces are so amazing.  It doesn't matter the size or shape.  You walk in and the room SOUNDS different, the air FEELS different.  I love backstage spaces!  You touch the heavy black curtains, the walls painted black feel like they go on forever.  There are prop tables, and costume racks....I can feel myself getting euphoric.   I sat there for a moment, and I could see CHAPTER TWO happening right in front of me on the stage.  It reminded me of a time... a long, time ago, when I was exploring a theater and I climbed up to the catwalks.  I was watching the dress rehearsal of the play I was in from up there when someone else climbed up.  Since the rehearsal was in progress, we whispered... and I fell in love for the first time.  Probably the association of romance and theater spaces is one of the reasons I enjoy Theater so much.....

"Theater Speak" is its own language.  It's like going to a foreign country and you find the only other American there who speaks your language.  That was what it felt like talking with Brett from Theater Works.  He had some good ideas to tweak our set that we will begin looking at today.  And we now get into the theater a half day earlier than I had originally told the cast so that will be a huge plus.   On a different note, our projection screen project is morphing due to the production not wanting to rent more equipment..."necessity is the mother of invention."   John Mn. and I will go over that when we sit down later this week to plot out the images that we want.

In the meantime, we go back to Act 2 today.
