It came to me while I was soaking in a hot bath, and no George, I wasn’t blowing bubbles or playing with my rubber ducky.  I was thinking about my trip to Starbucks recently.  When the barista asked my name – so she could write it on my cup – I said “Leo.”  But she wrote “Leon.”  So, there I was in the tub spelling it out in my head … “Leo … L … E … O” – when it hit me!   It’s been right there all this time, staring me in the face!  Neil Simon gave it to me – and what a gift!  He named his character Leo, and maybe it wasn’t by accident.  Trust me – I’ve had a lifetime of experience with Leos; my mom and my sister were Leos.  I found this description of the Leo personality online, from Brian Palenske (horoscopecompatibility.com):

The Leo personality is a charismatic, proud, and powerful force to be reckoned with.  They are natural-born leaders with a flair for the dramatic who never do anythingby  halves   Ruled by the fiery Sun, Leos can't help but shine and be the larger than life people that they were so obviously born to be.

So, it gives me something more to work with.  I just had to get out of my own way, relax and let the mind wander and Voila!  Inspiration struck!

“I said Leo, Leo … oh baby, me gotta go now … “
